Fugitive Comedy hosts some of the best and brightest comics working in the Boston area and nationally. The comedians who have joined us have appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Last Comic Standing, America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central, The Jim Jeffries Show, Comedy Bang! Bang! Live! Podcast, NPR’s Commonwealth Journal, Lifetime’s Girls Night Out — and have opened for numerous well-known comedians in clubs around the nation.

Sean Sullivan
Sean has cemented himself as a stand-out comedian in the legendary Boston comedy scene. With his quick wit and sharp jokes, it’s no wonder Sean was crowned 2022’s Funniest Person in Massachusetts or that he was selected to perform at the very top venues in New England including the Wang Theatre, Laugh Boston, and the Boston Calling music festival. After making his national television debut on Comedy Central, Sean has been consistently relied upon to deliver laughs all across the nation.

Amma Marfo
After years of writing about comedy for The Interrobang, Splitsider, and her own website, Amma decided to take to the stage — on the nudge of a dare set for her by her podcast co-hosts. Seven years later, she's appeared at Newport, RI's Rogue Island Comedy Festival, NYC's Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest, Austin’s Lysistrata Comedy Festival, and Toronto's Far from Here Festival. Her debut half-hour special, "Enjoy Your Nachos," was released in February 2023.

Matthew P. Brown
Matthew is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. Starting his stand-up career in Boston, he has performed throughout the US. After moving to Los Angeles, Matthew performed at the world’s top comedy clubs including The Comedy Store and Hollywood Improv, among others. There he got opportunities to open shows and work with some of today’s top comedians. With a decade of experience, he has developed his “voice” and comedic perspective.

Amy Tee
“Not every crazy looks crazy,” says Amy, the comedian and motivational speaker who brings her boyish charm and dry wit to the stage with a storytelling style that shifts between stereotypes and reality. She delivers comedy with stigma-busting honesty. “I feel alive,” she says of the work. “I’m candid and exposed yet still fully clothed. Identified by the Boston Globe as a comedian to watch, and in Curve magazine as one of the “funniest lesbians in America,” Amy toured nationally and was a featured comedian in the film, “Laughing Matters — The Next Generation.” She remains a fixture on the comedy circuit, is a regular performer at the Boston Comedy Festival, and has been featured on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and the LOGO television network.
